I was fortunate to be raised in a Christian household. Looking back, I am very grateful that my parents are both Christian and taught me at a young age the love of Christ. I was saved and baptized when I was 7 years old!
Going into college, I had the plan to study International Relations and work for the FBI. This is something I had planned for a while and I did not want to change the plan. I ended up working at a youth camp the summer after my freshman year and my perspective had changed. The Lord really taught me a lot that summer and I got to experience what ministry was like and how God can be glorified thought it all.
At this camp I got to go out in the community and be able to share the love of Christ through missions. I loved serving others and being able to build relationships. After the summer, I felt the Lord calling me to change my plan. I was confused and scared but I knew that I wanted to do ministry full time. I also loved to travel and love learning and being immersed in different cultures. After prayer, I felt the Lord was calling me to overseas mission work. My heart specifically burdens for the people in Europe and this is where I want to do ministry. After I graduate, I would love to do camp ministry overseas. This brings my passion and calling for missions and camp into one. I want to be apart of God’s global mission and believe that camp is an amazing experience that can bring students to learn and know the Gospel. I am excited and expectant to be apart of what God is doing in Estonia and I am looking forward to working with global workers already there!
