Hi! My name is Abigail Fisher. I am originally from Jefferson City, Missouri, and am currently living in Phoenix, Arizona to study Behavioral Health Science at Grand Canyon University. I started studying this field to further my career in counseling with an emphasis in clinical and trauma. I believe everyone deserves to be heard. Everyone has a story and what they have gone through has shaped them into who they are today. Counseling is an amazing tool that can be used to help people reach their greatest potential by working through their hardship, struggles, and growing into who they are supposed to be. A little more about me is that I am passionate about getting to know those around me, providing a safe environment for people to feel seen, heard, wanted, and loved. Everyone is in search of something, and whether they know it or not, they are searching for Christ. If it is in the Lord’s will, I would absolutely love to do missions someday while bringing alongside counseling.

That being said, I am beyond excited to share that I have been given the amazing opportunity to intern in the United Kingdom with Alliance for Transatlantic Theological Training (AT3) with a hope to focus on Biblical Counseling. The internship will take place from June 2 to August 8, 2025. I will be serving and training in a local church to deepen my understanding, scriptural principles, and application in helping people navigate life’s challenges. This internship is an incredible opportunity for me to grow in my calling to provide Christ centered counseling. I have decided to walk this path because the Lord has set it before me, it aligns with my deep passion for equipping others to find healing, hope, and restoration through the truth of God’s Word. During my time, I will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and theological education that is aimed at preparing me to serve those in need of Biblical counseling and support. I have been praying for the opportunity within ministry, missions, and counseling, and I am beyond excited to step forward into what the Lord has in store for me!
