The Oral Gospel for Oral Learners

Most rural people in this M*sl*m people group in West Africa are functionally illiterate. A few may be able to read or write their name and a few words but cannot read a page of narrative from the Bible.

This project funds the development and distribution of resources to reach this segment of the population:

•Chronological Bible stories and books of the Bible are recorded on small, battery-powered mp3 players that recharge via a small solar panel on the back. These $25 players are purchased and given to M*sl*m friends with “ears to hear.”

• A series of 100 chronological Bible stories produced as 15-minute radio programs are broadcast on local radio reaching 125 villages and a town of 12,000 people. This fund pays for broadcast costs.
