Financial grants for church plants led by pastors of culture and color

One of our goals as a movement over the next 10 years is to grow the number of our churches that serve cultural or multi-cultural congregations from 23 percent to 30 percent. Church planting is a very challenging endeavor. Our experience has taught us that it is even more challenging for our ethnic and cultural leaders to raise the funds necessary to begin.

With this initiative, our goal is to give a $12,500 grant to each of our assessed and approved cultural/ethnic planters who start a church in 2018. Having such grants will help lead to a great increase and success in our cultural and ethnic congregations. But we can only do this with your support.

Please pray about the financial contribution you will make to these challenging initiatives beyond your existing support to other Converge entities. The Converge national office will match your gift to this initiative between now and December 31, 2017, up to $250,000. Or you may designate your gift for the Converge General Fund, allowing us to apply it to the area of greatest need.

You make it possible for people to meet, know and follow Jesus. Thank you so much for helping us start and strengthen churches together worldwide!
